apt

i have been having trouble with apt4suse. Turns out i just didn't know how to use it.
install-atp4suse may take a while to download and install apt and apt-libs, it may throw out what looks like error messages, but just be patient and wait, it will do it in the end.

O, and install-apt4suse is supposed to import the gpg keys for you, but if it does not (and this has happened to me two times, dunno why), and you can't be bothered to import the keys yourself, you can still use apt without the gpg keys.

apt --no-checksig install
yes, there's no typo. It's just apt, not apt-get.
